To post all staff positions, backfills or new, hiring managers need to start with their HR Partner. The HR Partner will provide counsel on the most appropriate way to satisfy the hiring need and obtain the necessary approvals.
In general, the forms needed for hiring include:
- Request to Open Requisition
- Job Code Description
- Job Information Questionnaire
- Any Previous Job advertisement language
- Position Description Questionnaire (only used for positions that require a new university title to be created)
After meeting with the HR Partner, the hiring manager will meet with a recruiter for a recruitment strategy meeting. The recruiter will then facilitate and manage the entire search process through to a completed job offer.
