Find a matching job description

Visit the USC Manager Gateway at this link to find a matching job description for the position you wish to hire for. Clicking on the number of each job code will bring up that code’s full description, which you can use to see if the code is an accurate fit for the position you wish to hire. You can also press Ctrl and F on your keyboard (Windows) or Command and F (Mac) to search the entire page.

If you’re unsure which job code to choose for the position you wish to hire, reach out to your department’s HR Partner.

Download and complete job description form

Once you have found an appropriate job description for the position you wish to hire, download it and

 

Complete the Open Requisition, Job Code Description, and Job Information Questionnaire. This set of paperwork is due to your HR Partner by 5pm on Wednesdays. It will then be reviewed by Friday morning.

Once approved, it will be inputted into Workday within 48 business hours for final approval and posting.

Schedule meeting with your recruiter

Your departmental recruiter will work with you during an initial recruitment strategy meeting to gather details about your job posting. They will then work with you through the process of posting the position, conducting interviews, and the post-interview stage.
